As part of a digital studio, we worked on a number of projects that combine the construction of an architectural object with a combination of projections and performance in space. In the final exercise, we used digital tools, actors from the Department of Theater at the Faculty of Arts at Tel Aviv University and a video projection that responds in real time to the actors' movement.
Our subject dealt with the term alter ego - the other self and focused on drag as an expression of this in everyday life.
The performance expresses the process of finding identity, renouncing social limitations and the new power acquired with the help of the extroverted object that empowers the users who pass through it.
